Closure of DopeSaaS and All Associated Products on April 30th, 2025

Dear Community and Valued Users,

With great sadness and deep regret, we are announcing the closure of DopeSaaS and all associated products: RankAtom, TryHumanize, and Cirl. All platforms will permanently close down on April 30th, 2025.

Why We Are Closing

When we started, we had high hopes and ambitions for RankAtom, relying fully on Google's publicly accessible data to deliver essential keyword rankings and insights. Unfortunately, Google's sudden and complete policy changes in January 2025 severely disrupted our platform's core functionality overnight. Despite our sincere and relentless efforts—working tirelessly, day and night—these changes ultimately proved insurmountable. While Google's changes contributed to our difficulties, these technical challenges alone would not have led us to close DopeSaaS entirely.

Our Experience with AppSumo

When we partnered with AppSumo, we believed we had found a supportive partner who would guide and help us navigate the complexities of the market, particularly in tough times. Unfortunately, just when we needed their support the most, we were faced with significant financial demands from AppSumo that left us overwhelmed. They presented our small team with a demand exceeding $150,000, far surpassing what we had earned from the campaign, especially when considering AppSumo’s substantial commission fees. Given the situation, it was difficult to believe that AppSumo was merely acting in the best interest of its customers.

Without our permission—and merely notifying us of their decision —AppSumo proceeded to refund customers long after the official campaign period had ended. This unilateral decision deeply impacted our morale, leaving us feeling helpless, unable to control matters impacting our business.

To make matters worse, AppSumo took our private and sensitive matters into the public domain, initiating discussions on platforms such as Reddit. We were astonished that a reputable organization would publicly portray us negatively rather than engage with us in meaningful dialogue to address customer concerns.

What are we feeling?

The emotional and psychological impact of this entire experience has been profound. The overwhelming stress resulting from AppSumo’s actions, coupled with the technical pressures from Google’s policy shift, significantly diverted our attention from serving our customers as we wished. However, please know that we take full responsibility for the frustrations you experienced due to our inactions.We sincerely regret the disappointment you, our valued users, have experienced.

Moving Forward with Hope

Though emotionally drained and deeply saddened, we promise to move forward stronger with the lessons we learned. Future projects, if any, will incorporate stronger contingency planning, clearer communication, and more robust customer support strategies.

Important Actions Required by April 30th, 2025

Please log into RankAtom, TryHumanize, or Cirl and securely download your data before April 30th, 2025. After this date, platform access and all user data will be permanently deleted.
